LandlordBC continues to advocate on behalf of our members and the broader rental housing industry, seeking the assurance of the Housing Minister, the Hon. Ravi Kahlon, that he won’t cap the 2025 Annual Allowable Rent Increase below the full Residential Tenancy Act Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustment.  In fact, we are asking him to reinstate the CPI + 2% formula that was in place prior to 2019. We urge you to write the Minister and to assist you we’ve provided a templated letter which you can download by clicking the button below.
